My name is Andy Thompson and I am beyond excited about being in seminary. I am currently attending Dallas Theological Seminary pursuing a master’s degree in Christian Leadership. I live in Cumming, Georgia with my wife Tiffany, our son Fuller, and our dogs, Daisy and Dawson. We love hiking, fishing, and the Atlanta Braves. I’m in full time vocational ministry at North Point Ministries. I work at one of our five campuses, Browns Bridge Church, as the middle school director. Our mission and vision is to lead middle school students in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to help them discover a faith of their own. I am so humbled and honored to be able to serve alongside some amazing volunteers to help accomplish that mission. Part of my love for middle school students comes from my undergrad degree, which is a BS in Middle Grades Education from the University of North Georgia.
I grew up in a Christian home where Christ was the center. I accepted Christ at a young age at a vacation Bible school. I remember the children’s pastor telling us about Jesus’ no sin and how He wanted to trade it for our sin. I was convicted and no longer wanted to live a life in sin. At that point, I accepted Jesus’ beautiful gift and started on my journey of my Christian life. It has been absolutely the best decision I have ever made. He has done some amazing things in me and through me!
